Notifications are an essential part of staying connected to your remote property by helping increase your awareness with real-time alerts. You can customize and select specific users and sending methods (i.e., push, SMS, or email) for each notification.
The Flex Aware sensor supports Sensor Activity and Sensor Left Open notifications.
A Sensor Activity Notification notifies recipients immediately when a sensor is opened or activated.
A Sensor Left Open Notification notifies recipients if a sensor is left open for a specified duration. This notification is sent only after the specified duration has passed. For example, you can use this on a pasture gate that should not be open for more than 5 minutes at a time.
A Flex Aware can send multiple types of notifications. You are not limited to choosing between one type or another type. You may find that using both of these notification types is the best solution for your needs.

2. Tap the more menu button in the lower right-hand corner

4. Tap + Add New Notification
5. Tap the type of notification you wish to configure: Sensor Activity or Sensor Left Open
6. Enter the desired name for the notification
7. Configure the notification as desired
8. Tap + Add to add recipients, either push devices or notifications recipients
Push devices are associated with users that have access to the account, this could be the account owner or additional users. To receive push notifications, a user needs to have the All Aware app downloaded. To add a push device from a user to your notifications, see How to Add or Remove a User on your Account.
Notifications Recipients receive alerts from your All Aware account via email or SMS. Having access to the All Aware account or app is not required to receive push notifications. To learn more about notifications, see How to Add or Remove Notifications Recipients.
7. Verify the notification is configured with the desired settings.
8. Tap Save
Congratulations! You have successfully added a new notification for your Flex Aware sensor and are on the road to increased awareness. If you would like to create additional notifications, simply follow the steps above.
2. How to Edit a Notification
- Log in to the All Aware app
- Tap the more menu button in the lower right-hand corner
- Tap Notifications
- Tap Edit Notifications
- Tap a Notification under "Active Notifications" you wish to edit
- Review the notification and edit any of the configurations or recipients
- Tap Save
Congratulations! You have successfully edited your notification for your Flex Aware sensor. If you would like to edit more of your notifications, simply follow the steps above.
3. How to Delete a Notification
- Log in to the All Aware app
- Tap the more menu button in the lower right-hand corner
- Tap Notifications
- Tap Edit Notifications
- Tap a Notification under "Active Notifications" you wish to delete
- Tap the trash can icon in the upper right-hand corner to delete the notification
- Tap Delete
Congratulations! You have successfully deleted your notifications for your All Aware sensor. If you would like to delete more notifications, simply follow the steps above.
