After you install your Flex Aware device(s), you can configure your notifications to alert others, set up filtering to only receive notifications in certain timeframes, and set up alerts to notify you when your Flex Aware is closed.
Notify Others via SMS, Email, or Push
Flex Aware can notify your family, friends, and coworkers through SMS, email, or push notifications. Check out How to Add Notification Recipients to learn how to add notification recipient(s) to your notifications.
Filter Notifications by Time Frame
By default, your Flex Aware device sends notifications 24/7. To receive alerts only during specific hours, such as 9 AM to 5 PM, Set Up Notification Filtering to restrict alerts to your preferred time frames.
Sensor Closed Alerts
The standard Sensor Activity notification you set up in Part 1 notifies you when the door or gate you are monitoring is opened. To get a notification when your Flex Aware is closed, check out How to Create a Sensor Left Open Notification. This notification sends you one notification when a door or gate has been opened for a set duration of time, and then sends another notification when the door or gate has been closed with a Sensor Left Open Restoral notification.
